About the artist
Majbrit Nicolaisen is a landscape artist living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
As a child, Majbrit spent her vacations in England visiting her grandparents, and as a grown up, she has chosen to spend them in Scotland. Her paintings are inspired by, and centered around the breathtaking nature in England and Scotland and the alluring light (and shadows) in Danish nature.
Art not only represents decoration and beauty, it creates mood. As with the choice of music, one creates the mood one desires by choice of painting.
